‘Police critical for success of ECOWAS Brown Card scheme’

The Ghana National Bureau of the ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme will on August 22 and 23, 2018 organise a two-day ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme Orientation Programme in Accra, for over 120 Police officers of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD).

Explaining the aim of the programme to the media, the Chief Executive/General Secretary, Mr Patrick K. Agyekum said, “the police play a vital role in enforcing motor road traffic regulations, which equally applies to visiting motorists from Member States of ECOWAS.

“There is, therefore, the need for the police to gain a good insight into the ECOWAS Brown Card Insurance Scheme”.
